Oasis

Oasis is a restaurant in the Andheri West Shopper's Stop which serves standard Indian and Chinese fare. Nothing exotic but good and reasonably priced food.

It's about a 60 seater place frequented mostly by families. Sometimes you find a noisy bunch.

The service is a bit amateurish and the waiters have a habit of talking too much and making off the cuff comments with intended humour which may not be always welcome.

The food is generally available Punjabi and Chinese fare. You'll do well ordering some standard safe dishes.

For soup we had Chicken Manchow Soup, Spicy Seafood soup and Sweet Corn Chicken soup.

Among the main course was Veg in Hot Garlic Sauce which was excellent as was the Buddha's Delight. The non veg Chicken Keong was just barely edible. A plate of rice and one of noodles was sufficient for the 5 of us.

Didn't have a look at the liqour menu but a bottle of beer is probably around the 130 to 150 mark.
