Summary: Famous small seafood place outside Bandra station
Getting there: On S.V. Road outside Bandra station. Walk for 2 mins. towards Mahim
Food Cost: 50-100
Description:

Saayba is one of the old famous seafood joints which make Bombay seafood heaven. It is situated on the extremely crowded main S.V.Road outside Bandra station (W).

It is a very small restaurant which probably seats 20-25 people. Hence, it usually tends to be crowded in the evenings and at lunch time.

The food is very good and affordable. The thali and all sorts of fish there are good.

"Sea" the Light!

Yup, Saayba sure offers excelent seafood. I've personally never been a great seafood fan (though I rarely say no to a crisply fried surmai!) and Saayba converted me! Went there with my cousin and we gorged on shellfish, pomphret curry, and prawns masala... all washed down with lip-smacking kokum. All for under 500 bucks... five stars to this joint (even if the spice had me sniffling like a child!)
